During 2019 and 2020 Wakefield Quarry supplied rock for the upgrade to Port Nelson. The product we supplied for this project is our Armour Rock.

Super cycle way project
In Nelson the newly developed cycle way is a success story we are proud to be part of, and supply the product for. A great way for the community to enjoy safe cycling, to improve healthy living, plus to see the beauty Tasman has to offer. The products we supplied for this project were Top30, which has fines in it up to 30mm so packs down nicely. The path then is finished with a topping of AP20.

Wakefield Quarry rock features in many local gardens, providing a strong, natural aesthetic. Proves great in tricky sloping areas, retaining walls and creates pleasing contrast to plants and lawn.
Unscreened hardfill also creates a great ground cover to stop pesky weeds, and is more permanent than bark or mulch, plus it looks great.
